Forms & Requisitions: Submissions must be accompanied by a completed UAB Medical Genomics Laboratory Test Requisition
Synonyms: NF, NF1, SPRED1 Prenatal (PT2)

Specimen Type: Chorionic villus sampling or amniotic fluid or amniocytes
Collection: (1) Direct CVS, (minimum 10 mg pure villi)
(2) Direct amniotic fluid (minimum 10 ml fluid)
(3) 2 T25 flasks of cultured CVS (>60% confluent)
(4) 2 T25 flasks of cultured amniocytes. (>60% confluent) Also send 1-5 ml blood or buccal swab from mother for maternal contamination studies
